What are the major groups that do land and sea surface temperature analysis?
Many scientific groups do land and sea surface temperature analysis through out the world. Three of the most-cited groups are:
NASA Goddard Institute for Space Studies Surface Temperature Analysis (GISTEMP)
The US National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), NOAA also publishes Global Temperature Trends: Summation.
Independent of the above is the Berkeley Earth Project. The Project sets out to to do a new analysis of the surface temperature record.
